The Sevens Pre Sales. On Friday, July 11th, 2008, we, along with a number of other property Burnaby real estate development groups, were requested by the BC Superintendent of Real Estate to postpone our sales and marketing until we had achieved final approval of our Sevens apartment on Royal Oak Burnaby development permit from the City of Burnaby. This is in keeping with their new policy that the fourth reading of the rezoning bylaw constitutes final approval, not the third reading, as was the case until the recent amendment. This policy change occurred just as we were achieving extraordinary pre-sales Burnaby condos success during our individual VIP sales appointment process, with 35% of The Sevens on Royal Oak being sold within the first week of launch.
